Created by urban entertainment journalist EbenGregory, "The Jewelry Report," follows hip-hop and R&B news and gossip and has become one of the most widely watched urban video blogs on the Internet.

Austin, TX (PRWeb) January 22, 2007 -- Blastro Networks, an independent operator of Internet destinations for music videos, movie reviews and original shows, today announced that its urban music entertainment video blog "The Jewelry Report," secured 2 million streams. Created by longtime urban entertainment journalist EbenGregory, "The Jewelry Report" follows current news in the hip-hop and R&B entertainment industry with topics focused on celebrity news and gossip.

A nationally syndicated entertainment journalist, TV host and personality, EbenGregory, who refers to himself as "The Jewelry Man," developed "The Jewelry Report" with Blastro Networks and posted his first video blog in October 2006. In just three months, "The Jewelry Report" has become one of the most widely watched urban music and entertainment blogs on the Internet.

The World According to the Jewelry Man
"Working with Blastro as their resident urban celebrity news video blogger has given me an enormous amount of exposure and helped me reach this milestone," commented EbenGregory. "I think the success of 'The Jewelry Report' comes from the insatiable curiosity of Blastro's audience to know everything. I call it the broadcaster-newspaper theory. Broadcasters are storytellers, newspapers are fact-gatherers and organizers of information and 'The Jewelry Report' is a hybrid of both."

EbenGregory was also recently tapped by The Source Magazine founders David Mays and Raymond Benzino to become a featured columnist in their new lifestyle magazine, Hip-Hop Weekly. His new column, "The World According to the Jewelry Man" will touch on a variety of topics including film, TV, music, fashion, sports and celebrity news. EbenGregory is also a senior contributor for AllHipHop.com.

"Our relationship with Eben is powerful because he adds content that is relevant to the artists that we carry and interesting to our viewers," said Jesse Brede, site director of Blastro Networks. "Our audiences couldn't be more perfectly aligned and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship."
