Westerncell.com has announced their latest great hottest selling cell phones. Also, a special trial of mypic which will allow anyone to get their pic published on the Homepage of westerncell.com in the "great eight" list. To get consideration send your pic and favorite cell phone to Bill via the contact e-mail.

(PRWeb) January 30, 2007 -- Westerncell tracks the most popular selling cell phones releases the results on a regular basis. The latest hottest selling cell phones from the internet site http://westerncell.com/ are as follows:

1. Cingular Wireless         Motorola RAZR V3 Black
2. Nextel                     Motorola i850 (Camera Phone)
3. Verizon Wireless         Motorola Razr V3m Silver (Multimedia Phone)
4. T-Mobile                 Motorola RAZR V3 Gray with Myfavs
5. T-Mobile                 Motorola RAZR V3 (Camera Phone)
6. T-Mobile                 Motorola RAZR V3 Magenta with Myfavs
7. Cingular Wireless         Motorola RAZR V3 Fire Red (Multimedia Phone)
8. Cinglau Wireless         Motorola Razr V3 Blue Camera Phone

The Cingular Wireless Motorola Black Razr has been in the number one slot since westerncell began tracking sales over a year ago. The Nextel Motorola i850 has also been on and off the great eight hottest selling cell phones since its inception. Surprisingly, the Blackjack i607 by Cingular and the Katana lines by Sprint did not make the list even though both of these phones are heavily advertised and are free or free after mail in rebates at http://westerncell.com/. Also, noteworthy is the fact that even though Motorola manufactures all of the great eight phones, they are second to Nokia as far as number of phones shipped. The reason for this is that Nokia sells more to the "emerging markets".

"I am often asked what is the difference between the RAZR Multimedia Phone and the RAZR Camera phone," states Bill Cannon president of Westerncell. "Basically, the Multimedia offers a MP3 player and video capture, otherwise they are the same phone."

The big announcement this week is that westerncell.com will start devoting one of their "great eight" slots to anyone who wants their "15 minutes of fame". "To be considered just send me an email via the contact e-mail with your picture, tell me your favorite phone and tell me anything else you want to about yourself and we will put you in our website on our 'great eight list' replacing one of our cell phones," says president Bill Cannon. "I don't know of any other company that is willing to give 10% of their valuable website and advertisements back to their customers."

This could be a lot of fun. We will see if there is any interest.

"Remember if you would like to see your pic on our website http://westerncell.com/ , send me an email via the contact e-mail for your consideration. Please include your name and favorite cell phone. No purchase is necessary."
