Huntington, NY (PRWeb) January 8, 2007 -- Milestone Video (www.milestonevideo.tv), a video production boutique, today announced that "Autism Every Day," the short film it co-produced with director, Lauren Thierry, for the Autism Speaks organization, will make its world premiere at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival on January 21 and 22 in Park City, UT and January 27 in Salt Lake City.
Selected by the Sundance Institute from among 3,287 international feature submissions, Milestone Video's film will be showcased as a special screening in the out-of-competition section of the festival. The emotional impact of the film is conveyed with unwavering passion through Milestone Video's signature unscripted, documentary-style approach.
The short film has drawn praise from the autism community for its dramatic portrayal of a day in the life for children with autism and their families. Copies of Autism Every Day were also given to members of Congress ahead of voting on the Combating Autism Act of 2006 (S. 843), which was recently signed into law by the President.
