This week, storage solutions specialists Action Storage Systems (http://www.action-storage.co.uk) have announced the launch of their new range of innovative school lockers designed to combat vandalism and keep school and pupils' property safe from thieves.

(PRWEB) October 2, 2007 -- This week, storage solutions specialists Action Storage Systems (http://www.action-storage.co.uk) have announced the launch of their new range of school lockers designed to combat vandalism and keep school and pupils' property safe from thieves.

The new eXtreme™ plastic lockers (http://www.action-storage.co.uk/lockers/plasticnew.asp) are a more secure and practical replacement for conventional metal lockers. They're made from tough polyethylene plastic, which is strong enough to resist attacks by a claw hammer, and its hinge can withstand nearly 3200 N without breaking. The thick, robust doors are virtually impossible to break open, which means pupils' property can be kept safe from vandals and thieves, day or night.

Many schools struggle with limited space for pupils to store their books and gym kit as corridors have to be kept clear for fire escape access. eXtreme™ lockers solve this problem because they're made from a weather resistant material that wont rust in the rain and they can be stacked outdoors. They're also more hygienic and can be washed with a high pressure hose. The water will simply filter through their drain holes and they can be fitted with sloping lids to prevent rubbish accumulating.

"Vandalism is a growing problem in schools throughout the UK," said Action Storage Systems' MD Tom Brialey, "We have supplied lockers to over 800 schools and believe the eXtreme™ lockers are the best yet for helping combat vandalism and keep pupils' property safe from thieves."

Action Storage Systems' school locker range also includes specially designed Laptop Storage Lockers (http://www.action-storage.co.uk/store/product.asp?spc=LTSL). They're built from heavy gauge steel that is thicker than conventional lockers, and can store up to 15 laptops independently. This means they're stored more securely overnight and it's harder for thieves to steal a large volume.

Details of Action Storage Systems' full range of lockers, benches, cycle shelters and other school equipment can be found on their website (http://www.action-storage.co.uk) and in their new catalogue, which is available to order for free when you visit them online or call their freephone helpline.
