Management Mentors focuses on best practices in mentoring during its upcoming Internet radio show on Friday, October 5, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. (EDT).

Chestnut Hill, MA (HRMarketer/PRWeb) October 2, 2007 -- Management Mentors will focus on best practices in mentoring during its upcoming Internet radio show "Mentoring Matters: Mentoring in Today’s Business World" on the VoiceAmerica Business Channel on Friday, October 5, from 9-10 a.m. (EDT). People can listen directly from their PCs in the comfort of their homes or offices. Management Mentors’ shows will also be archived so listeners can listen whenever they want.

During Friday’s show, Management Mentors president Rene Petrin along with Dave Carson will use skits featuring mentors, mentorees, and program managers to illustrate some of the best--and worst--practices that businesses are likely to face should they implement mentoring programs. Petrin says, "These real-life scenarios will show listeners what works and what doesn’t by way of example." Some of the skits will focus on communication while others will highlight the importance of listening. In addition, Petrin and Carson will talk about starting a mentoring program, what traits you need in mentoring program managers, and how successful matches are made.

Mentoring Matters: Mentoring in Today’s Business World
Upcoming topics include the following: diversity, recruitment and mentoring, how to start a mentoring program, how to manage a mentoring program, success stories, communication strategies, plus much, much more.
