A list of 17 Washington politicians who have compromised national security to be made known in forthcoming book .

Concern about the forthcoming book "Homeland Insecurity" by Terry Turchie and Dr. Kathleen Puckett appears to be mounting. Turchie and Puckett, retired FBI Special Agents, have co-authored a book, "Homeland Insecurity," detailing the actions of seventeen Washington, D.C. politicians who have gained or maintained power at the expense of the nation's security.

News Image"An increasing number of phone calls have come into our office inquiring about the status of "Homeland Insecurity," said Don Bracken, of History Publishing Company, the book's publisher. "Four came in last week. Some have even inquired about Mr. Turchie's and Dr. Puckett's schedule. Obviously some people are very interested in talking to them. Perhaps they are the same people who might be in the book."

I don't believe that this has been done before
"Homeland Insecurity," sometimes referred to as "Profiles of Courage in reverse," deals with the seventeen Washington D.C. politicians who have placed their pursuit of power over the national welfare by fostering actions that enhanced their power base at the expense of national security.

Unique to"Homeland Insecurity" is information provided by several retired FBI Special Agents familiar with the individuals on the list of seventeen, and their activities. "I don't believe that this has been done before," said, Bracken. "Retired Special Agents are a font of information that is largely untapped. History Publishing Company is fortunate to have such a book. Mr. Turchie and Dr. Puckett were quite accomplished in the FBI and certainly know their way around the halls of power. And they are gifted writers as well. The remarkable writing skills demonstrated in their current book 'Hunting The American Terrorist' proves that."

Terry D. Turchie was a Director of the counterterrorism unit that pursued and captured several high profile domestic terrorists including Ted Kaczynski and was the recipient of the FBI Director's Award and the Attorney General's Award for Distinguished Service. Dr. Kathleen Puckett, a Special Agent, was a a clinical psychologist, a founding member of the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Program and was also the recipient of the Attorney General's Award for Distinguished Service.

"Hunting The American Terrorist"(9781933909349)the story behind the story of the pursuit and capture of Ted Kaczynski, considered to be the FBI's most notorious domestic terrorist, is currently in bookstores nationally and is, along with Mr. Turchie and Dr. Puckett, the subject of a National Geographic television program scheduled for December, 2007

"Homeland Insecurity" is due out in May, 2008.
