WorldatWork, an association of human resource professionals from FORTUNE 500 and other leading organizations worldwide, is scheduled to present WorldatWork Total Rewards Asia Pacific 2007 from 31 October-2 November at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore.

Scottsdale, Ariz. (HRMarketer/PRWeb) October 10, 2007 -- WorldatWork, an association of human resource professionals from FORTUNE 500 and other leading organizations worldwide, is scheduled to present WorldatWork Total Rewards Asia Pacific 2007 from 31 October-2 November at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore. Dedicated to advancing the profession in total rewards, compensation, benefits and work-life balance, WorldatWork convenes with the region’s top employers and management consultants to share trends and best practices on formulating the right mix of rewards and benefits to attract, motivate and retain talented employees.

The conference opening keynote speaker is Joseph Michelli, author of the best selling book, The Starbucks Experience: 5 Principles for Turning Ordinary into Extraordinary. In his book, he shares five principles that will help generate employee retention and empowerment – to explore a world where "everything matters" and companies are "beloved." An organisational psychologist, he has culled lessons and principles from businesses that offer enduring benefits to teams, managers, and organisations.

Alistair Mant, Chairman of Socio-Technical Strategy Group, will present the closing keynote. Mant will discuss a new paradigm of the "great" organisation within which the HR function is becoming a key part of the unique selling proposition. Mant is an international authority on leadership development and executive talent identification. He is Chairman of the UK-based Socio-Technical Strategy Group – a brokerage for carrying out studies of system function and dysfunction. Mant’s books include The Experienced Manager (which won the Institute of Management’s "Bowie Medal"), The Rise & Fall of the British Manager, The Dynamics of Management Education, and the best seller, Intelligent Leadership.

HR practitioners may register for the WorldatWork certification programme to be held prior to the conference, 29-31 October 2007.
