Raytheon has been awarded a five year IDIQ contract from The Department of Defense to provide solutions that disrupt and deter narcoterrorist and illegal drug activities around the world. Reston, Va. (PRWEB) October 15, 2007 -- Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) LLC, a subsidiary of Raytheon Company has received a contract with a ceiling value of $15 Billion across all Task Orders to provide equipment, material and services in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO). The five-year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract begins August 24, 2007 and ends August 23, 2012.
Under the terms of the contract, RTSC may provide support to CNTPO in three areas: technology development and application; training, operations and logistics support; and professional and executive support. CNTPO is located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Va.
RTSC, prime contractor for the contract, teamed with Phoenix Worldwide Industries, Inc. and others. The team will offer CNTPO a comprehensive capability to produce innovative solutions, provide responsive support and experienced management committed to the CNTPO mission worldwide.
