Carolina Pad & Paper Hires Beth Funston as Creative Director

In new Creative Director position, Beth Funston to manage day-to-day operations of the Carolina Pad & Paper art department and work with Signature Designer Jacqueline Savage McFee developing the company's creative vision.

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) October 18, 2007 -- Carolina Pad & Paper (CPP), a leading supplier of fashion school and office products for women and girls, announced the hiring of Beth Funston as Creative Director, effective November 5. Funston, who will manage day-to-day operations of the CPP art department, will work closely with Signature Designer Jacqueline Savage McFee developing the company's creative vision across all existing and new business categories.

Funston will bring to this new position many years of marketing, advertising, and sales experience including product development, trends analysis, and strategic planning. Funston spent the last 28 years at Hallmark Cards, Inc., in a number of positions of increasing responsibility, most recently, art director -- greetings division. Her roles at Hallmark have also included design director -- strategic initiative team, product manager -- Party Express, and consumer promotions strategist -- advertising.

Funston received an interior design degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She has also been continuing her education in surface design, graphic arts, and photography at the Kansas City Art Institute.
