GIS Integration with Web 2.0 Mapping Platform Makes Major Advances.

Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) October 19, 2007 -- GEOINT 2007 attendees will see the latest advances in geospatial data visualization next week. ISC, the maker of MapDotNet Server, will showcase solutions that integrate spatial data from sources including ESRI ArcSDE, Oracle Spatial, and PostGIS with the latest release of Microsoft's Virtual Earth platform.

"Virtual Earth 6.0 is quite an upgrade" said Casey Donovan, VP of Solution Sales at ISC. "The new oblique 'birds eye' imagery navigation while in VE's 3D mode is stunning. When you combine those capabilities with the visualization of local critical infrastructures we enable with MapDotNet Server, you get a new paradigm that is more powerful and widely accessible for situational awareness." MapDotNet Server is the .NET GIS platform that provides extensive support for Virtual Earth integration. Organizations can create interactive maps that provide geospatial visualization and analysis capabilities.
