Growing up with Lupus-a Pediatric Symposium.
(PRWEB) October 19, 2007 -- Lupus International is pleased to offer on October 27, 2007 at UCLA a very special pediatric lupus symposium, "Growing up with lupus." The event takes place at Moss Auditorium in the Marion Davis Children's Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day will be filled with a variety of topics led by renowned physicians from UCLA's pediatric Rheumatology department. Topics covered:" What does it mean to be a kid with lupus SLE", "Why are the kidney's so important", "Socializing", "Nutrition and lupus" and "Your future", plus many more. If you are under 18 years of age and have lupus, we invite you to submit an original design or drawing to be used as greeting cards for Lupus International. You may bring your original drawing to the symposium, draw one at the symposium, or mail it to Lupus International at 17985 Sky Park Circle Suite J, Irvine, CA, 92614. Please be aware once you give us your design, we will use it and have all rights to the image. All proceeds generated by the cards will benefit Lupus International and help support our programs.
