Transitioning from Engineer to Marketer to CEO

On Tuesday, October 30th, at 10 AM PDT, the California Institute of Technology Industrial Relations Center will host an online interview and Q&A with Art Swift, CEO of Unidym. The online session at www.technologymarketingcenter.com will focus on Art's career path from engineer to marketer to CEO of the leading manufacturer of carbon nanotubes (CNTs).

(PRWEB) October 26, 2007 -- The CEO of Unidym, an Arrowhead Research Corporation subsidiary working in carbon nanotubes, will share the story of his career path from technical contributor to marketer to CEO. The free, online interview will begin at 10 a.m. PDT on October 30. Anyone with a computer and Internet connection can attend and submit questions.

Chris Halliwell, director and cofounder of the California Institute of Technology Industrial Relations Center's new online community, the Technology Marketing Center (TMC), will interview Art Swift, Unidym president and CEO. Swift will discuss the transitions and the learning process during his years of preparation for the top job in an emerging technology venture. He will share insights into the special perspective that a marketing professional brings to this role.
