Her Art, Your Neck: Neckties.com Launches Artist's Series Neckties

Neckties.com is debuting a limited collection of gorgeous silk neckties featuring the art and designs of contemporary Orange County artists. Costa Mesa, CA, artist Leigh White is the first artist to be featured in this limited edition series.

Garden Grove, CA (PRWEB) November 3, 2007 -- ART: Digital images of the Leigh White Art Series are available in high resolution format.

This new, innovative artist's series is the brain child of Shawn Marie Turi, Neckties.com's Director of Corporate Sales. "Although we carry lots of traditional art ties, there's so much creativity and such a proliferation of contemporary artists in Southern California doing such great work that it just made sense to embrace a way to get their art out there in an unusual and clever way such as neckties. Our precise production methods and use of 100% silk makes these ties very high-end and almost museum pieces onto themselves. This collection was designed for the chic and the culturally aware. For snappy dressers who understand style, texture, and above all else -- art," says Turi.

Featured in the very first edition of the Neckties.com (http://www.neckties.com ) art series is au courant painter and Costa Mesa, CA, artist Leigh White. She is an award-winning copywriter, graphic designer and illustrator. An ardent lover of pop-art, cubism and the found items of her world, Leigh White has created a bustling collection awash in bright vibrant colors, offbeat humor and eye-catching juxtaposition. "Not everyone goes to museums or art galleries to see art. By making silk ties with artists' paintings on them, it is a very cool and modern way to infuse the world with great colors, truly original designs and style. It brings art to the people in a fun and functional way. The art collection ties definitely evoke dialog and encourage conversation -- which is so important in the hustle and bustle and stress of 21st century life," notes artist Leigh White.

To add value, each tie in the limited addition collection is hand numbered (1 to 100) and packaged in a beautiful couture wooden box bearing the artist's logo, an artist card, hand signed by Leigh White along with a detailed biography is included in ever package. Pre-orders for the Leigh White collection of art ties are now being taken at Neckties.com. The collection ships out to customers December 1, 2007.

ABOUT NECKTIES.COM
Neckties.com (http://www.neckties.com ) opened their virtual doors in July 1996, operating as Anointed Apparel, on a budget of only $300. The website offered only one product line, but as the orders began to come in, the potential for selling neckties online became clear and a vision was created. A goal was set to make Neckties.com the ultimate necktie shopping experience.

Today, Neckties.com has met and exceeded its original goal, and now supplies customers with some of the world's finest neckwear, including brand names like BCBG, Kenneth Cole, Principessa and Brent Morgan. The current inventory boasts over 7,000 premium neckties and accessories. Continually searching for and developing new products throughout the world to fill the needs of dedicated shoppers. In 2005, Neckties.com became a part of the Wild Attire, Inc. family becoming their largest supplier of quality neckties, cufflinks, and tie clips overnight. While Neckties.com has grown remarkably over the last decade, little has changed about the way they do business. Our mission is still the same -- to provide each and every Neckties.com customer with the widest selection of high quality products in a convenient, and secure, online shopping environment.
