Open Source to be Featured at American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Annual Symposium

OpenClinica will be presented in a workshop on open source software at the upcoming 2007 Annual Symposium of the American Medical Informatics Association in Chicago.

Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) November 3, 2007 -- OpenClinica will be presented in a workshop on open source software at the upcoming 2007 Annual Symposium of the American Medical Informatics Association in Chicago. The workshop, titled "Open Source Tools and Applications in Medical Informatics," takes place from 7:00 - 9:30pm on November 10th at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.

Representing OpenClinica will be Cal Collins, Akaza Research's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Collins will present at the workshop along with representatives from the University of Utah, IBM, Webreach, Regenstrief institute, Tolven, and Mendocino Informatics.
