Seattle, WA (PRWEB) November 5, 2007 -- PhotoWorks, Inc., a leading online photo publishing company, announced today a partnership with Future Image Inc., PMA and the Association of Imaging Executives (AIE) for the 2007 6Sight® Future of Imaging Conference. The two-day executive event will focus on the explosive global spread of imaging technology and its potential for exciting new opportunities to improve people's lives in the work, home and community spheres. Under the agreement, PhotoWorks will provide conference attendees with a dedicated website for posting and sharing event photos and stories. In addition, PhotoWorks and Future Image will work with a celebrity editor to be announced later, to create a beautiful limited edition photo book featuring the best attendee photos as well as images taken by professional photographers - a unique memento of the landmark event. The 2007 6Sight conference will be held Nov. 8-9 at the Monterey Conference Center in Monterey, Calif.

Visual storytelling is one of the key themes of this year's conference, which will examine how imaging is helping people everywhere and every day to be more creative, more connected, more productive and better informed. As a silver sponsor, PhotoWorks will
make a major contribution to this theme at the 6Sight event.

Our high-quality, sophisticated photo books are a unique way to showcase the latest in digital photography while giving attendees a fun, distinctive way to commemorate the event.
"With user-generated content driving the future of imaging, PhotoWorks is excited to provide all 6Sight attendees with a dedicated space for sharing and exchanging images and stories, as well as an event photo book comprised of their own images," said Andy Wood, PhotoWorks CEO. "Our high-quality, sophisticated photo books are a unique way to showcase the latest in digital photography while giving attendees a fun, distinctive way to commemorate the event."

"The emerging trend of consumers progressing beyond single-image communication to visual storytelling is one of the most exciting developments in our industry, and will be among the key topics explored as part of our 'Visual Voice' theme. We're excited to partner with PhotoWorks so that our attendees can go beyond discussing it, and actually engage with and experience it, with a collectible memento as the creative result." said Alexis Gerard, president of Future Image Inc., author of "Going Visual," and chair of the 6Sight conference. "Part of the 6Sight mission is to distinguish ourselves from standard industry conferences, by crafting our two-day events into unique and memorable experiences for attendees. This project is one example of how we're going about it this year, with more to come."
