Webinars are hosted by Fit4D coaches who are also nurses, exercise physiologists, dietitians and personal trainers with extensive diabetes expertise and accreditations. Fit4D coaches present engaging content and answer questions designed to support people with diabetes live healthy and fulfilling lives.
During a webinar, participants watch a Power Point presentation on their computer while listening to the presenter by phone. Participants can question the experts via phone and using on-line tools. Queries are discussed on the call.
Fit4D also offers members 1:1 personalized fitness and nutrition guidance/support that helps them achieve their fitness and nutrition goals.

Nutritionist Susan Meeke will discuss holiday-related issues on November 15th at 7 p.m. EDT during “Turkey, Stuffing & Pie, Oh My! Diabetes during the Holidays." Topics will include lifestyle strategies for blood sugar control, baking and cooking with sweeteners and calculating carbohydrates in traditional recipes.
On December 12, 2007 at 7:00 p.m EDT Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator, Karen Johnson will present “Fasten Your Seat Belt...The Ride Could Be Bumpy.”
Questions addressed include: “How do you travel and manage illnesses safely with diabetes?” Laurie Anderson, MS, RNP, CDOE and Fit4D Director of Wellness Services will co-host the for an interactive discussion about the highs and lows of blood sugar management during travel and sick days. Come share your tips and experiences!
And to start the new year on January 8th at 7 p.m. EST, Kundalini and Hatha Yoga teacher, Michele Risa, will present “Change? It's Already Happening." Many wish for change but the truth is it's happening all the time. In fact, it's the only constant in life. And it's based on universal principals of energy. Fit4D guest speaker, Michele Risa, will discuss how you can harness this powerful force by learning how to align your thoughts, words, actions, feelings and desires.
