utilizing these types of sweepstakes we're able to bring a little bit of Hollywood into our centers across the country, while helping our local franchisees develop excitement in their individual markets
When Marvin Cook of Layton filled out his on-line entry in the Cottman Transmissions sweepstakes, tied to the release of the Touchstone Pictures Wild Hogs film on DVD, little did he know that he would be riding off on the grand-prize.

In a recent ceremony at the local Cottman Transmission center located at 1373 Main Street in Layton, Mr. Cook was handed the keys to his new motorcycle by Cottman franchisee Dale Kershner. Mr. Cook, who recently retired from the Air Force, indicated it was a purchase that he was considering for next year but that he never thought that he would be lucky enough to win a bike, let alone win one that was inspired by a blockbuster Hollywood film.

According to Todd Leff, President and CEO of Cottman Transmissions, "this is our second major promotion tied to a Hollywood film". Leff continued, "utilizing these types of sweepstakes we're able to bring a little bit of Hollywood into our centers across the country, while helping our local franchisees develop excitement in their individual markets".

Dale Kershner who owns and operates the Layton Cottman franchise was one of the most active advocates of the Wild Hogs promotion. According to Kershner, "I've been a franchisee in the Cottman system for several years and I'm truly integrated into my local market here in Layton. The fact that one of my local residents has won a prize like this makes me extremely happy".
