Phoenix-based STG Media Corp. will become WheyUP's designated print media placement agency of record.

Gilbert, AZ (PRWEB) November 22, 2007 -- WheyUP LLC, makers of WheyUP, the Original Protein Drink with Energy, and Phoenix-based STG Media Corp. have agreed to terms whereby STG Media Corp. will become WheyUP's designated print media placement agency of record. In conjunction with WheyUP's aggressive national distribution strategy, STG Media Corp. will handle the company's advertising placement in consumer publications, and assist with positioning and branding strategies.

"We're excited to be partnering with a successful firm like STG Media Corp.," said Erik Rothchild, the creator and co-founder of WheyUP. "They have a proven track record of bringing efficiency to advertising budgets and maximizing return on investment."

STG Media Corp. is a full service media agency, with expertise in print, television, online, and radio advertising for retail and direct response products. STG Media Corp. specializes in branding products, motivates and tracks product response, and delivers results. STG Media Corp. is working with WheyUP to execute on an entire print media campaign, which will include all aspects of branding the product; from research and strategy formulation to continuous evaluation throughout the campaign.

"We are very excited to work with WheyUP to build brand recognition and create consumer awareness by developing a strategic print advertising campaign to drive retail sales," said Thomas Lark, the CEO of STG Media Corp.

WheyUP, the first product of its kind that combines a protein drink with an energy drink, is sold nationally at GNC, Hi-Health and Bodybuilding.com. WheyUP combines 20 grams of whey protein with an energy formula in a sugar-free, non-carbonated beverage. WheyUP is sold in wild berry and tropical citrus flavors in ready-to-drink 16-ounce plastic bottles.

The fitness industry recommends consuming a minimum of 20g of whey protein prior to working out. Many individuals are also seeking a boost of energy to intensify their workout. With WheyUP, getting energized and adding healthy protein to a diet has never been easier.

WheyUP is targeted toward health-conscience individuals and fitness enthusiasts. It is ideal for fat-loss programs, exercise programs, weight-training programs, athletic activities, and as part of a healthy, active lifestyle.

"With 20 grams of protein, zero fat and only 1 gram of carbs, WheyUP is the perfect drink for people on carb-conscience diets," Rothchild said. "It's a great way to add protein to your diet and energy to your day."
