Writer-Director Edwin Heaven Discovers Cure For The Missing Sock: THROX®, The First Socks To Come In Threes (So When You Lose One You Still Have A Pair).

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 28, 2007 -- Picture this. You've completed the weekly wash and as you're pairing up socks for the drawer, you discover one or more have mysteriously disappeared. Sound familiar?

Well, worry no more because a clever entrepreneur from San Francisco has devised a creative solution to this irritating phenomenon.

Writer-director Edwin Heaven is the inventor of THROX, the first socks to come in threes, so when you lose one you still have a pair. The Cure For The Missing Sock!

How clever is THROX? Readers' Digest Magazine in its prestigious "Best In America" issue gave it its "Best Innovation" award.

Says THROX inventor, Edwin Heaven: "THROX makes the perfect Christmas stocking stocking-stuffer because it's both fun and practical."

Yes, considering that every washer/dryer has either a sock monster or some kind of Bermuda Triangle, three-socked THROX is one hell of a practical and fun holiday gift idea, Mr. Heaven.

Besides, if tires come with a spare, why not socks?

About the inventor:
Along with inventing Throx, the first socks to come in threes (so when you lose one, you still have a pair), Edwin Heaven writes like hell and has written, produced and directed over a hundred films, big and small, including "The Organist" (official entry at 20 international film festivals) and wrote the original script for "Howard the Duck." His work has appeared in Rolling Stone, Oui and Playboy and he has written comedy for Tim Conway, Rich Little, Bob Newhart and Jonathan Winters. His newest book, Harry Potbelly, is available at Barnes & Noble and other fine booksellers. Edwin Heaven, by the way, is also author of the new novel The World's Most Handsome Man and the inventor of The Pet Rubber, the first user-friendly condom.
