Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) November 30, 2007 -- Grace Hospitality is offering a distinctive self driving tour and travel package to three of Arizona's must see destinations this fall and winter season. Guests can enjoy some of the very best scenery that Northern Arizona has to offer with this wonderful five nights / six day package.
The Explore Northern Arizona journey begins with a short two hour drive from Phoenix to the historic city of Prescott for two nights of luxurious accommodations at the recently renovated Prescott Resort. While in Prescott, guests can explore Whiskey Row, learn about the history of Prescott with a stop at the Sharlot Hall Museum, browse the many local shops for antique shopping, or visit the famous Courthouse Square. Prescott has a colorful old west history and the city places great emphasis on historic preservation, with over 600 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
Leaving Prescott and traveling through Jerome and Cottonwood will bring guests to the next stop on the tour, the renowned Red Rock city of Sedona, with a two night stay at the extraordinary Junipine Resort. The Junipine Resort is located on the banks of Oak Creek in Oak Creek Canyon. The accommodations at the Junipine all have fantastic views, fireplaces, oversized decks and full kitchens. There is also an excellent restaurant, the Junipine Café on site. The collection of Sedona's impressive, natural endowments includes the 1.8 million-acre Coconino National Forest, which essentially engulfs this city and encompasses seven intriguing wilderness areas. When in Sedona guests can attend the Red Rock Fantasy of Lights, take a jeep tour, have lunch overlooking the red rocks, shop the downtown area or hike the many trails of Oak Creek Canyon.
Leaving Sedona, guests will drive to Verde Valley where they will then proceed on to Highway 260, one of the most scenic drives in Arizona, to Payson. In Payson the drive goes north east through the spectacular Sitgreaves National Forest arriving in Heber/ Overgaard for one nights lodging at the Bison Ranch Resort Suites. Nestled in the heart of Arizona's majestic Rim Country the Bison Ranch Resort Suites, vacation condo rentals, offers luxury lodging in a tranquil and quiet sanctuary where guests can unwind and relax before heading back to the Valley.
The Explore Arizona Package is a fantastic mini vacation getaway and can be purchased as a gift certificate. You can add on more nights at any of these great locations as well as adding the city of Scottsdale or Tucson to your itinerary at preferred pricing.
Pricing begins at $575 for five nights of accommodations and will vary by season. Some restrictions may apply. Call 1-800- 950-9577 to book this package.
