Interpower won the “Prime Minister” prize at the Technical Accuracy Control Awards which is held by KTL (Korea Testing Laboratory)
(PRWEB) December 18, 2007 -- Interpower won the “Prime Minister” prize at the Technical Accuracy Control Awards which is held by KTL (Korea Testing Laboratory). Interpower a high technology-intensive venture business company, was established in 1999 and consists of the professor and students at Seoul National University (SNU in Korea) power electronics system laboratory. It won the first prize in lab business contest held by Korea Small & Medium Business Administration in 1999.
INTERPOWER provides automotive HID 35W electronic ballast, HID conversion kit, metal halide electronic ballasts and power supply in specific use. HID (High Intensity Discharge) unit is gradually replacing halogen lamps across all car areas, not within the luxury sector HID (High Intensity Discharge) unit uses xenon gas to produce more light for less power. Interpower’s high quality products improved road safety at night, lowered power consumption, increased light output and lasted far longer.
Metal halide lamps are used in shopping malls, retail premises, offices, public buildings, Lobbies, warehouse, gymnasium and architectural lighting. All HID lamps, including metal halide lamps, require a ballast to operate. Compared to magnetic ballast, the energy saving metal halide electronic ballast is the next generation product. Its functions and capability have been proven with color-rendering which is quite close to natural color.
Currently, Interpower are promoting commercialization and R&D for a wide variety of products to extend its business basis to New Generation Automotive component for 42V/14V PowerNet with Hyundai Motors and Backlight Inverter for large LCD TV and growing as a high technology company in power electronic systems. In the present, dependable goods from “Interpower” are exported to more than 30 countries around the world including Russia.
