Every once in a while you need to send out an e-mail with some photos. New Windows program called Photos for Grandma now simplifies that process and turns it into fun with picturesque results.

The program romantically named Photos for Grandma is actually a specialized mailer that automates the process of sending an e-mail with photos.
In practice, a user chooses photos to send, selects a design template for the message, writes its subject and leaves the rest to the program. Photos for Grandma then resizes all photos to make them optimal for e-mail and assembles them in the chosen design template. The finalized message goes directly to selected recipients. On a technical side photos are resized to small (640x480), medium (800x600) or large (1024x768) size that is set for each contact separately.
