Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 11, 2007 -- This December, The Harris Law Firm, Colorado's Family Law Team, teamed up with The Adoption Exchange (AE) to make the holidays a little brighter for children waiting to be adopted by loving families. The divorce attorneys and staff of The Harris Law Firm raised funds and purchased personalized gifts to be given to the children during the holiday season.

The Adoption Exchange is a non-profit child welfare organization founded in 1983 to work for safety and permanence in the lives of foster children. The Adoption Exchange recruits families for children who have survived abuse and neglect, supports adoptive families throughout every phase of the adoption process, and trains child welfare professionals. The Colorado Office of The Adoption Exchange is dedicated to helping waiting children in Colorado find safe, loving, permanent homes. In addition, AE assists adoptive families by providing resource information and referrals, support, advocacy and education.
