Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) December 21, 2007 -- Pop Vulture T-Shirt, the new brutal commentarian dedicated to starting a dialogue on the chests of its fashion forward customers. Elevating the individual, elevating the idea, elevating what it means to wear a t-shirt. Their motto: If the truth fits, wear it.

Pop Vulture T-Shirt offers clothing fit for criticizing a king.

Their shirts hit hard, hit home, and hit often- attacking all things popular culture with uncompromising fortitude.

The war in Iraq is atop their current list of conversation topics. Scathing, satirical indictments of the war include three provocative shirts.

"United We Murder"(accompanied by an image of a tattered US Flag)
"MIA-Missing In Afghanistan"(Accompanied by an image of Osama Bin Laden on a revised version of the POW/MIA Flag)
"POW-Prisoner Of W." (Accompanied by an image of a shackled and blind-folded Guantanamo Bay Detainee)

The content of their products is by no means limited to politics. Commenting on the bizarre state of celebrity in modern times is high on their list, as well.

"Madonna & Child Molester" (Accompanied by an image of Madonna cradling a baby-size Michael Jackson...in the style of a classic Madonna & Child painting)

"Citizen Hilton" (Accompanied by an image of Paris Hilton posing glamorously for an imaginary mug-shot)

They also aim to make more broad social commentary. The current state of social affairs is, in their eyes, alarming, and the following shirts articulate their concerns and discontent.

"Sex Sells" (Accompanied by an image of a shackled would-be pinup girl)
"Post Godernism" (Accompanied by an image of an angel holding an assault rifle)
"My Toilet Runneth Over" (Accompanied by an image of an overflowing toilet)

Some controversy surrounds their designs, which Pop Vulture sees as inevitable. The company acknowledges that certain public dismay will always be voiced when challenging the status quo.

They are devoted to doing much more than selling t-shirts. Their website offers a forum for users to participate in the dialogue, and they have an ongoing blog to present new in-depth ideas to the public. They also offer wallpaper downloads for your computer, and offer links to other socially conscious businesses and groups. The t-shirts, it appears, are part of a larger, important movement.

Their aim: to elevate the individual, to elevate the idea, to elevate what it means to wear a t-shirt.

Pop Vulture T-Shirt - If the truth fits, wear it.
