Wag'N Enterprises announces today the launch of the Wag'N Driving Safety Training Course, a first of its kind two day course aimed at educating drivers on how to properly drive with a pet in the car.

Herndon, VA (PRWEB) December 3, 2007 -- Driving around town with the family dog is a normal routine for many pet owners. But letting the pet get away with a lap visit, an open window and/or a buckle free ride can be more dangerous than most pet owners want to admit. From the flying debris that can hurt the dog's eyes to the tragic consequences a traffic accident, no driving class has in so far been tailored to provide the driving skills necessary to a safe ride with Fido. Until now that is. A new innovative course is being launched to teach pet owners and law enforcement K-9 teams how to properly drive while keeping the furry companion/partner safe in the car.

Wag'N Enterprises announces today the launch of the Wag'N Driving Safety Training Course, a first of its kind two day course aimed at educating drivers on how to properly drive with a pet in the car. Each 2 day course is led by an acclaimed defensive driving and anti terrorism expert Tom Bullins fromTrigger-Time.com and provides students with the training necessary to ensure the safety of all passengers.

Participants in the Wag'N Driving Safety Training Course will be immersed in a 2 day intensive training program entirely dedicated to driving with a dog in the vehicle. The innovative, and unique pet driving safety course is not only a first in the emergency management training field, it is also one of the most in demand training programs for those in law enforcement with K-9 teams.

In the Wag'N Training Course participants engage in such exercises as breaking, turning, skid control, weight transfer control, throttle control, off road recovery, and others all focused on the key element of a pet being involved in the situation. Participants will be taught the fine art of accident avoidance, distracted driver circumstances, instinctive reaction, and multiple lane avoidance with and without a pet mannequin onboard.

Every possible scenario a pet owner could encounter in the car with their pet will be addressed at this intensive training program.

The Wag'N Driving Safety Training Course runs 2 days, and will be offered on 3 separate occasions to fit anyone's busy schedule. The cost of the course will be $2,950 per student. Class size will range between 12 and 28 students, and will be offered in March of 2008 at the Capitol Raceway in Crofton, MD.
