At fourteen years old, she was one of fifteen chosen in the US to travel with performing arts troop, 'Peace Child', in Russia before the Cold War ended. She began a performing arts troop at seventeen years old called 'A Little Laughter Productions' touring nursing homes, hospitals, schools and homes for the mentally challenged. In her early twenties, she took over an existing non-profit and developed two television pilots along with curriculum and implemented it in several school districts.
