Florida businessman Bill Keller, who turned Live Prayer.com into the world's most successful online outreach and took his Florida-based talk show to a national audience in July 2006, said officials estimate that over 600,000 visitors will pass through the Florida State Fair gates this year. "If those estimates are correct, that means over a half-million people could hear the distinct message of hope that 'Live Prayer' has been bringing to individuals all over the world for the past eight years," said Keller.
Keller noted that "Live Prayer" will have a large big-top style tent set up right on the State Fair Midway, complete with a large-screen television playing episodes of the prayer-themed talk show that has been broadcast five nights a week from the ministry's Jacksonville headquarters since 2003.
"In addition to broadcasting specially selected 'Live Prayer' shows, we will have several Internet computers available for our guests to send in their prayer requests to our round-the-clock counselors," said Keller. "We'll also have volunteers visiting with fairgoers about the various ministries of Live Prayer and explaining the plan of salvation to those who are interested."
Keller himself is set to appear at the "Live Prayer" tent two hours each day to meet guests and to pray with those who have special needs. "This is the perfect venue for 'Live Prayer' and we're anticipating a phenomenal response," said Keller. "In fact, we are already talking with fair officials about sponsoring a 'Live Prayer Night' at the 2008 Florida State Fair.
