NCH Software releases Prism v 1.00 video file converter which converts avi, mpg, vob, asf, wmv, mp4, ogm and all video formats that have a DirectShow based codec to AVI and Windows Media Video formats.
Canberra, Australia (PRWeb) February 7, 2007 -- NCH Software, specialists in business and video software, announced the release of Prism v 1.00 video file format converter for Windows.
"Prism is the latest in our new line of video applications," said Stephanie Lee, sales manager for the Canberra based company. "It is of course based on the very successful Switch audio file converter application and offers the same basic functionality as its audio cousin with the ability to control compression/encoder settings, batch processing and you can even set the resolution and frame rate of output files."
Prism is compatible with Windows Vista as well as other Windows operating systems from Windows 98 onwards and supports the file formats avi, mpg, vob, asf, wmv, mp4, ogm and all video formats that have a DirectShow based codec to AVI and Windows Media Video formats.
"We have released the first version of Prism as a freeware program to allow users to download and use the functionality which in turn will lead to constructive and positive feedback," said Stephanie. "It is also one of our growing range of applications released under the NCH Software banner, which is an offshoot of NCH Swift Sound. We are slowly defining our audio applications from other non-audio applications such as FlexiServer, an employee management tool, and Informant which is a video surveillance application."
