Siemens Pte. Ltd. Automation & Drives, global market leader in industrial automation, together with RFID4U, world leader in RFID learning solutions have successfully organized the first RFID vendor-neutral training gearing towards achieving CompTIA RFID+ certification in Singapore.

Sunnyvale, CA & Singapore (PRWeb) February 07, 2007 -- Around 17 participants from different companies coming from various countries in Asia Pacific (Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Taiwan) attended the CompTIA RFID+™ certification training in Singapore from 23-26 Jan (1st batch) and from 30 Jan – 02 Feb (2nd batch). During the 4-days training, participants learned about different RFID technology, implementation and troubleshooting of RFID systems and the different standards and regulations available.

At the end of the training, participants took the 1.5 hours CompTIA RFID+ exam to prove that they have acquired broad base of knowledge and competency in RFID technology. CompTIA RFID+ certification is an internationally recognized validation of the technical knowledge required for RFID professionals.

RFID systems are complex, and difficult to install and integrate because unpredictable variables can occur at any stage of the deployment
Senior Instructor Eva Zeisel, RFID+ from RFID4U created an open, friendly learning atmosphere and successfully trained all participants to pass the CompTIA RFID+ exam.

“Though it is just a 4-days course, I’ve learned a lot on RFID technology and its workings and these can help me a lot on my work” said Ms. Ng Swee Noi from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore.

“RFID systems are complex, and difficult to install and integrate because unpredictable variables can occur at any stage of the deployment,” said John Venator, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA. “The more experienced, trained and certified the RFID team, the better they will be able to overcome any challenges, and deliver the highest-quality RFID service to customers.”

Congratulations to all participants who passed the exam and became RFID+ certified professionals.

Next CompTIA RFID+ certification training will be held again in Singapore in March.
