Willemstad, Curacao (PRWeb) February 11, 2007 -- Betting at VIP.com is literally going to the dogs. The tail-wagging action heats up at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show next week, and VIP.com is giving players the best odds available to put money on their favorite pooch.

The big winner at the Westminster Dog Show will be christened "Best in Show", and bettors who correctly predict things like the sex and the breed of the winning dog can cash in at VIP.com.

A male winner (or "dog") is a -180 favorite to win the coveted crown, while a female winner (or "bitch") is a true underdog at +150.

Last year's best-in-show winner was a male Bull Terrier. A winner this year from the same breed would pay out at 30/1 odds. The breed that enters the competition as the favorites this year is the Fox Terrier (wire) at 12/1 odds. The Scottish Terrier is also a strong favorite at 15/1 odds. Listed as longshots are breeds such as the saluki, chow chow, rottweiler and shih tzu, all of which are currently listed at 100/1 odds.
