Steven S. Sadleir, Director of Leading Edge Investments, announces record returns of 36.36% in 2006 for club members on mutual fund investments.
Laguna Beach, Calif. (PRWeb) February 11, 2007 -- At the monthly meeting of The Leading Edge Investments, economist and club Director Steven S. Sadleir announces that the portfolio of investments recommended to club members exceeded 36% in 2006 on a weighted average basis. "These returns exceed our stated goals of making a 30% return" states Mr. Sadleir.
Steven S. Sadleir, a retired investment banker and fund advisor, started sharing his investment methodology with family and friends who began making more money by using Mr. Sadleir's institutional trading strategies. "The goal is to maximize our return while minimizing our risk using state of the art investment analysis," states Sadleir.
In a discussion with club members Sadleir said, "I am the black sheep of investment pundits because I completely disagree with their strategies." Sadleir who worked as an economist for the United States Government and Lloyds Bank and later as a fund advisor for several large funds is big on high performance mutual funds, with long-term track records with experienced fund managers that he knows. "You want to know who's in the know," he emphasizes to club members in their monthly teleconferenced meeting this week.
Sadleir advises a portfolio mix of Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) funds, emerging market and growth funds, international and global funds, with a few precious metal and energy funds to hedge the portfolio. Sadleir shares with the group "you need to know when to buy and when to sell and why." The year before Sadleir made his club members over 40% return, but this year was more difficult with a leveling off of the energy sector and precious metals. However, none of the club members seemed to mind making over 36 percent return. Membership is growing stronger each month.
Leading Edge Investments provides training through a virtual course for club members. The meetings are teleconferenced, the newsletters are emailed and important announcements are sent via instant messaging. State of the art institutional investment analysis is utilized to determine the best investments. Next year The Leading Edge Investments expects to make over 40% return. "The bottom line is the bottom line," says Sadleir.
