Industry leader Laing Thermotech releases unique new DC pump that easily adapts for a variety of uses, from aquariums to vending machines. The ultra-efficient Ecocirc pump is the first and only one of its kind with technology that allows it to maximize its own performance.

Chula Vista, CA (PRWeb) February 14, 2007 -- Laing Thermotech has released a unique line of DC pumps that offers a highly-customizable solution for a myriad of purposes. The new pump--called the D5 Ecocirc--also provides a low-cost, highly-efficient option for manufacturers needing a small pump to cool electronic components.

"Laing's variable-speed Ecocirc pumps are a truly versatile solution for a huge variety of applications," says Bob Hutslar, Laing's National Sales Manager. "Applications, including solar panels, computer cooling and pedicure chairs, are already using our Ecocirc pumps."

Applications, including solar panels, computer cooling and pedicure chairs, are already using our Ecocirc pumps.
In addition to being highly adaptable, the Ecocirc DC pumps are super efficient to run and maintain. They are the first and only DC spherical motor pumps with self-optimizing technology to keep the pumps operating at their best. The Ecocirc is designed to automatically find and maintain maximum performance under any given light and temperature conditions all on its own. So there is no need for a separate performance adaptation, which helps minimize operating costs.

The Ecocirc solar pump can be connected directly to a photovoltaic panel. This makes it ideal to use wherever a highly efficient circulation pump is needed without a direct connection to AC power. The pump also features a snap-out design of its motor drive unit to allow the motor to be replaced without draining its fluid and without special tools.

Other features and benefits of the new efficient Ecocirc pump include:

  • A shaftless spherical motor technology that enables a long service life
  • No conventional shaft bearings or seals, which makes for quiet operation
  • Requiring very little maintenance under normal conditions
  • Reliable startup--even after being shutdown for a long time
  • Durable parts that resist corrosion when exposed to fluids

The inventive Ecocirc pump joins an impressive collection of leading-edge products developed by Laing over the years. Laing is an industry pioneer that created the first practical do-it-yourself instant hot water circulation system. The company offers a variety of low-energy-consumption, fractional-horsepower pumps for residential, solar and industrial use.
