Toronto (PRWeb) February 16, 2007 -- One-of-a-kind piece of motorcycle art by Cranked Customs hits the eBay auction block in support of The Birth of a Nation Tour where students from across Canada will travel to France to pay tribute to those who gave their lives at The Battle of Vimy Ridge. The Tour commemorates the 90th anniversary of the battle of Vimy Ridge, the moment many consider the birth of Canada.

The bike's frame and tinwork basecoat paint has been closely matched to replicate the colour of a Canadian WWI uniform. Scenes of the battle, images of the Vimy Memorial, and actual replica WWI medals decorate the chopper. The gas tank is emblazoned with the portraits of four soldiers who received Victoria Cross metals for their bravery at Vimy Ridge. The centrepiece of the back fender is a Vimy Cenotaph with dedications from the Vimy memorial and the map of the Vimy battle lines. The rear of the chopper features an excerpt from "In Flanders Fields" by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae.
