REMEDI Electronic Commerce Group (www.remedi.com) announces 2006 corporate results and highlights major milestones for the year.

Columbus, OH (PRWeb) February 20, 2007 -- REMEDI Electronic Commerce Group, an organization that specializes exclusively in the development, integration, and implementation of business-to-business Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions (www.remedi.com), announced today that it continues company growth in line with the strategic plan and stakeholder expectations. Additionally, increased demand for services, improved execution on new business development marketing & sales, and increasing migration from EDI and EAI packages to integration suites, will position REMEDI for continued growth in 2007.

Relevant Highlights for 2006

  • The B2B integration suite component of REMEDI’s consulting services practice achieved 305% growth in 2006 over the prior year. This continues to be due, in large part, to an increased interest from clients in moving from disparate Electronic Data Interchange ( EDI ) and Enterprise Application Integration ( EAI ) systems, to highly robust B2B integration suites capable of both.

  • REMEDI Outsource, a hosted data transformation service offered to clients since 2003, assisted companies in complying with trading partner data and connectivity demands while letting them focus on core duties and responsibilities. This service experienced growth through the year and contributed to 2006 overall success, with a revenue increase of 218% for the year.

  • In fiscal year 2006, REMEDI posted a modest revenue increase versus the 83% revenue experienced in the prior year. The profitability of the organization increased 24% in 2006 over the prior year due to revenue growth and certain fixed expenses reduced or eliminated throughout the year.

  • REMEDI increased its active client base by 28 over the course of the year. Since its formation, REMEDI has served nearly 300 clients who have turned to the organization with varying EDI and integration needs.
