The NiGUARD BRIDGE battery system technology, based on Cobasys' advanced, proprietary Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) chemistry, will be introduced at the Power Quality pavilion as a reliable, scalable alternative to flywheels. The Bridge system is capable of delivering 15 seconds of power, 3 times within 30 minutes without recharge in UPS applications. It is virtually maintenance-free, easily monitored, environmentally-friendly and has a lower total cost of ownership. The system can be expanded to an unlimited degree to meet higher power requirements, longer backup times or redundant backup solutions.
