Toronto, ON (PRWEB) February 20, 2007 -- Fulcrum Events is pleased to announce the purchase of the Canadian Coffee & Tea Expo from event founder and President Vida Radovanovic.

Canada's largest show of its kind features companies displaying products from across North America and around the world. The trade forum offers the country's largest educational program for the new entrepreneur and seasoned professional alike. It features classes for improving day-to-day operations, building sales, coffee brewing, tea preparation, retailing and staff training, and presentations on sustainability, industry trends and statistics, roasting, coffee cupping, tea tastings and the annual Canadian National Barista Championship.

The Coffee & Tea Expo is thrilled to join Fulcrum Events
"The Canadian Coffee & Tea Expo is an excellent complement to our industry-leading magazine, Your Foodservice Manager," says Russell Hoffman, general manager of Fulcrum Events. "We believe this show can offer educational and business building seminars on some of the most profitable menu items to the operators who read our publication as well as entrepreneurs looking to enter the Coffee & Tea shop or restaurant business. We look forward to working with the show's founder, Vida Radovanovic, and growing the show together."

Fulcrum plans to build upon the winning formula developed by Vida nine years ago, while expanding it to include other complementary categories, such as dessert and after-dinner drinks. As part of its marketing efforts, Fulcrum will be re-launching the event with a new name, The Canadian Coffee & Tea Show. Fulcrum will also be enhancing its editorial coverage of the growing coffee, tea and dessert segments in Your Foodservice Manager magazine.

"The Coffee & Tea Expo is thrilled to join Fulcrum Events," says Vida Radovanovic. "I believe that this is the proper home for the event, as it provides the infrastructure to grow the show to the next level, while still meeting the needs of coffee and tea stakeholders."
