Syntex Management Systems announces the latest release of IMPACT ERM Suite. For this latest release, one of the primary strategic objectives was to provide additional features that help improve an organization's ability in facilitating change management by further engaging the workforce through increased adoption of the risk management solutions. It delivers significant new product enhancements to further enable enterprise-wide risk management.

Houston, Texas (PRWEB) February 20, 2007 -- Syntex Management Systems, Inc., a provider of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) software solutions, announced today the release of Version 5.3 of IMPACT ERM™ Suite software. For this latest release, one of the primary strategic objectives was to provide additional features that help improve an organization's ability in facilitating change management by further engaging the workforce through increased adoption of the risk management solutions. This objective lead to the creation of three new product modules: Scheduler, Communications Module and Advanced Profiles. Syntex continues to be the global leader in the market delivering the most complete operational risk management footprint in the industry.

The Communications Module creates transparency around the use of IMPACT ERM Suite to make it a ubiquitous application for all users. There are three primary capabilities that make up the Communications Module: Advanced Notifications, Bulk Processing and Workflow Progression through email. The Advanced Notifications feature enriches the IMPACT Business Process Automation Framework by using customer-defined HTML forms for event-driven reporting and email notifications to key employees. This eliminates the need to go directly into the system to review the progression of events. Bulk Processing provides a single user interface for an advanced user take action on a broad set of tasks without the need to navigate through multiple levels of the application. Workflow Progression through email allows casual and advanced users alike to complete responsibilities without directly interacting with the IMPACT ERM software. These items will enhance adoption and improve the change management process for the ongoing use of the solution.

This latest release will continue to increase our customer's efficiency and effectiveness and provide greater visibility within the organization to achieve operational excellence
The IMPACT Scheduler is designed to allow users to pre-schedule and batch-run report scenarios, formatted reports, analytical reports and charts by specified timeframe on a recurring basis. The report output can be delivered via email or copied to a predefined location where the report can be shared. This new module also includes a utility, which allows administrators to monitor report runtime, status or restrict when specific reports can be scheduled target execution for non-peak hours. Reports, such as a workers compensation incident claim forms or EDI transactions, can be automatically generated at the appropriate time.

The IMPACT Advanced Profiles module further enhances the already renowned localization capabilities of IMPACT ERM™. Localization allows the end user to set the date and number formats as well as the language preference for all inputted text, menus, prompts, help, and even pull-down selection options. Localization also allows business processes to be varied by location and supports reporting in multiple languages. IMPACT Advance Profiles takes localization to the next level where screens, data fields, and business rules can be configured to a specific location or business process based on data elements entered. Furthermore, context-sensitive help is available for fields on the page to instruct users on the data necessary to populate the field.

Several other key enhancements were made to improve usability and meet the needs of "casual" or infrequent users. These include the ability to execute processes with read only visibility rights. Also included in the new release is the ability to process consequences of incidents pertaining to the reliability in addition to other consequences like quality, security, safety, environmental, etc. "This latest release will continue to increase our customer's efficiency and effectiveness and provide greater visibility within the organization to achieve operational excellence," said Joe Stough, VP of Product Strategy, Syntex. "It delivers significant new product enhancements to further enable enterprise-wide risk management.
