SharePoint Solutions is offering a new three-day, intermediate-level course on the new business intelligence (BI) capabilities of SharePoint 2007. The new course is the first one publicly offered by any SharePoint training company that drills into the significant business intelligence features of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Nashville, Tenn. (PRWeb) February 22, 2007 -- SharePoint Solutions, a national leader in Microsoft SharePoint training, consulting and add-on software, announced today that it is offering a new three-day, intermediate-level course on the new business intelligence (BI) capabilities of SharePoint 2007.

The course will be offered for the first time March 6-8 at SharePoint Solutions' headquarters in Nashville, Tenn., and then on a regular basis at other SharePoint Solutions' locations around the U.S.

Building Reporting Portals and BI Dashboards with SSRS, Excel Services and MOSS 2007
The new course is titled "Building Reporting Portals and BI Dashboards with SSRS, Excel Services and MOSS 2007." It is the first course publicly offered by any SharePoint training company that drills into the significant business intelligence features of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

"Building Reporting Portals and BI Dashboards with SSRS, Excel Services and MOSS 2007" is intended for business intelligence application developers, IT pros and business intelligence and reporting power users. The course's in-depth education on integration between SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services and MOSS 2007, as well as between Excel Services 2007 and MOSS 2007, provides the student with the foundational knowledge necessary to build powerful, company-specific business intelligence applications.

"Microsoft has done a phenomenal job at integrating their various enterprise products to provide a highly capable platform for delivering business intelligence applications. And, SharePoint 2007 is the centerpiece of this platform," said Jeff Cate, founder and president of SharePoint Solutions.

"However, Microsoft continues to lag in providing the expert training needed for organizations to harness the power of the platform. SharePoint Solutions has a lengthy track record of providing high-quality custom-developed curriculum taught by expert instructors. We are excited to bring this new course to market."
