National online poll answers question, What does my Valentine really want?"

Romance retailer Fascinations is helping to answer the all important question, What does my Valentine really want," through a new national online poll at Fascinationsvalentines.com that launched on Jan. 26. Designed to spark unique ideas for romantic gifts and stimulate a dialogue between couples about the perfect Valentines Day gift, Fascinations online gift poll encourages women to vote on what they want to receive, and conversely, for men to vote on what they want to give.
The poll has only been live for a week and already we are seeing some surprising differences between what gifts women want and what men want to buy," said Michael Ham, Fascinations spokesperson. Currently, women prefer lingerie over flowers nearly two-to-one, but men would much rather buy an erotic toy for their Valentine -- proof that men and women definitely need to communicate about their wants."
Fascinations was founded on the belief that couples can enhance their relationship by openly expressing their needs and desires. The online gift poll is another way Fascinations is fostering this dialogue between couples in an interesting and fun way -- but its not the only way. This Valentine season, Fascinations is bringing romantic expression to new heights with the My Beautiful Valentine" contest.
Launched in conjunction with the online poll, the My Beautiful Valentine" contest allows participants 18 years and older to log on to Fascinationsvalentines.com and describe in 75 words or less why their Valentine is beautiful. Entrants also have an opportunity to submit a photo of their Valentine that truly captures their beauty. These sexy photos and expressions of love (or lust) will be displayed in an online gallery where visitors can vote for their favorite, thereby helping to select the winner who will receive $500 in Fascinations gift certificates. Winners will be selected on Feb. 19 and will be announced on Feb. 20.
