Elyria, OH (PRWeb) February 13, 2007 -- ClearFlite Air Purifiers, a large Internet dealer of room air purifiers at www.airpurifiers.com will for the first time offer a line of water filters manufactured by Sweden-based, Blueair, Inc.

Until Blueair created the Direct Flow line of reverse osmosis (RO) water purifiers, we hadn't found one we were comfortable selling.
"Our customers have asked us for years, to offer a high quality water filter that met standards commensurate with those we require of our air purifiers," said Terri Zajac, ClearFlite President. "Until Blueair created the Direct Flow line of reverse osmosis (RO) water purifiers, we hadn't found one we were comfortable selling."

"Blueair's design solves two critical problems we've always had with water filters - bacteria issues with RO, and water pressure. Until now, RO units required a holding tank which could harbor and grow bacteria, and purified water was generally slow in coming. Blueair's ingenious design includes an internal pump that constantly flushes the RO membrane, and eliminates the need for a tank. The user gets perfectly clean water, fast. That's why ClearFlite has at last decided to offer the Direct Flow [http://www.airpurifiers.com/products/blueair/direct-flow.htm high end water purifier", Zajac said.

"There is also an environmental aspect of Blueair's new water filter that is important to us, as we are now evaluating our product lines in terms of environmental impact." RO water purifiers typically use up to twenty gallons of water to produce only two gallons of pure water! Blueair's Direct Flow design produces only two quarts of waste water, while processing two gallons of very pure water, which we think is a great improvement, Zajac said."

The 33 pound Blueair Direct Flow water filter occupies a much smaller space than traditional RO water purifiers (it's size is approximately 19x6x15 inches), and includes a contemporary-design faucet. A set of filter indicator lights tell the user when the water is ready to use, when the carbon pre-filter needs to be changed, and when the unit has put itself in an emergency stop mode due to a problem. Professional installation is highly recommended since it requires a hole in the countertop for the faucet. The unit will sell for $2995.95 with a one year warranty.

"ClearFlite Air Purifiers has had a long association with Blueair, and we know the company brings only the highest quality products to market. We are very excited about finally having the ideal water filters to add to our line," Zajac concluded.
