Menuism.com holds a best pancake search in Chicago, Seattle, New York and San Francisco in honor of National Pancake Week.
Seattle, WA (PRWeb) February 21, 2007 -- In a tribute to National Pancake Week (Feb. 18-24), Menuism.com launches the first monthly "Food Fight" contest to find the best pancakes in the Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York areas.
During the month of February, diners in each area will have the chance to partake in this sampling soirée and post their opinions at Menuism.com. At the end of the month, Menuism.com will honor the restaurants with the best flapjacks as well as the top pancake connoisseurs.
"With this Food Fight, we're tapping into public pancake passion and giving any pancake-serving restaurant a chance for recognition," said Menuism.com co-founder John Li, "and most importantly, we're giving diners a voice for their choice."
This event is one of many organized by Menuism.com to bring its populist food philosophy to the public. "When it comes to food, no one person or group should decide what's best," said Menuism.com cofounder Justin Chen. "There are too many 'best' lists that are exclusive and unfocused."
Interested diners can go to http://www.menuism.com/foodfight for full contest details and eligibility. Menuism.com will reward prizes to the top pancake reviewers and their referrers. Reviewers are ranked by the amount of appreciation received from the Menuism.com community.
