ATLAST Magazine Building Bridges for Beautiful Baby Boomers

ATLAST Magazine, based in Central Oregon, challenges people to get real concerning beauty and aging. It's a unique beauty magazine featuring women and men over the age of 45 as models.

Bend, Oregon (PRWeb) March 7, 2007 -- ATLAST magazine (http://www.atlast.org/) is a brand new hairstyle magazine depicting members of the age-less generation wearing sexy, trendy hairstyles and makeup. The magazine features skin care tips, fashion advice, fitness routines and more, helping boomers establish a head to toe personal image. ATLAST is dedicated to the idea that people need to get real concerning beauty and aging.

"Society implies only young people are beautiful," said Ann Havelock, editor of ATLAST magazine. "However, advertisers should be aware of the huge, untapped market they miss by not targeting millions of people 45 and older." Havelock, a stylist for the past 34 years, is a salon owner in Bend, Oregon.

Positive aging is a real trend in the United States. Many baby boomers are looking for recognition as sexy, trendy, fashionable and fabulous. Unlike previous generations, who accepted aging as an inevitable slide into dowdiness, they are willing to try products to help them enhance their own natural beauty.

"Young people have a tendency to think older people lose their desire to be sexy, trendy and fashionable. Today's baby boomer's are proving otherwise. Some of the most beautiful people in the world are 60 years of age and older," said Havelock. ATLAST Magazine focuses on this age group and helps people understand what real beauty is.

"Every age is beautiful and building a bridge to connect all ages is a great path to understanding the differences between generations," said Havelock.

For more information about the magazine, visit their website at (http://www.atlast.org/). The site features articles as well as a gallery of both men and women modeling the latest hairstyles.
