The first consumer-to-consumer mobile commerce site focuses on the connection between buyers and sellers.

Woodland Hills, CA (PRWeb) March 5, 2007 -- Gumiyo (http://www.gumiyo.com) announced today the availability of its Connect functionality enabling private and commercial sellers to receive instant connections from interested buyers through mobile phones and text-messaging.

Gumiyo sellers can list an item from their mobile phone, email, or web browsers and interested buyers can now inquire instantly about the item with a live seller. In conjunction with the existing Gumiyo Alert functionality, a buyer can now communicate with a seller as soon as a desired item becomes available.

Through wide Internet distribution of Gumiyo ads and by tapping into the 'always on, always present' nature of mobile phones, Gumiyo gives sellers multiple channels to post items for sale and reach interested buyers quickly
"Through wide Internet distribution of Gumiyo ads and by tapping into the 'always on, always present' nature of mobile phones, Gumiyo gives sellers multiple channels to post items for sale and reach interested buyers quickly," says Rich Abronson, Gumiyo's vice president. "With our Connect functionality, interested buyers now a have a direct line to the seller which is fundamental to building a seller's prospect base."

"Our sellers describe Gumiyo is a hassle-free application---the can list their items in seconds and are ready to receive inquires from prospective buyers right away," continues Abronson. "With Gumiyo, the immediate connectivity does not come at the price of losing one's privacy. A seller remains reachable and it is his decision when to expose a phone number or email address to the buyer.

Gumiyo Alerts allow buyers to be notified in real-time when a desired item becomes available. The alert message is sent to his cell phone or email address. From the alert, the user can review the listed item and connect with the seller immediately using a variety of methods. Buyers can shop anytime from anywhere and reach sellers through a single click.

"We are teaming with other leaders in the industry to give the buyer and the seller more tools and we will announce two more exciting partnerships shortly," Abronson continues. "Our mission is to create the first end-to-end mobile commerce application that allows you to register, sell your items, find items, communicate with sellers, and complete a sale -- all from your cell phone."

Founded by Shuki Lehavi and Rich Abronson in Woodland Hills, CA, Gumiyo is committed to revolutionizing the mobile consumer-to-consumer commerce experience.
