Mike Patak, owner of Mike's Classic Cars, LLC of Blair Nebraska purchased this outstanding collectible at the renowned Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona in January of 2007. The vehicle is showcased at his dealership and on his website, www.mikesclassiccars.net.

Omaha, NE (PRWeb) March 10, 2007 -- Mike Patak has been an avid classic and muscle car collector for over 30 years. He always had at least two cars starting at the age of 16, when he got his first collector cars. He had one to drive and one to restore! Since those days, Mike has gone on to many endeavors and successes including his experience helping build Quality Pork International, the world's largest ham boning operation. Mike spent over 21 years building the ham giant, owning the company for the last 10 years. Mike has also had success stock car racing at a local track over the last six years. Starting and operating a premier quality classic and muscle car collection full time has always been a dream of Mike's so a few years back he built a new building and has been traveling the country in search of the world's best cars!

Mike has developed an outstanding reputation for finding the best quality classics and muscle cars available. He is unwavering and uncompromising in his quest for perfection and accuracy and it is obvious in his collection and the vehicles he has restored. Mike also has a true passion for Shelby Mustangs. In fact, he has developed one of the most impressive, and probably one of the largest, Shelby Mustang collections in the Midwest. The collection's newest addition is Alice Cooper's 1968 GT500 KR. It is an outstanding example of these highly collectible and rare muscle cars. The vehicle is red with black interior and boast's Alice Cooper's autograph above the glove box. The engine is a 428 Cobra Jet with an automatic transmission. The car is one of only 299 GT 500 KRs built with factory air conditioning. Other options include tilt-away steering wheel, fold down rear seat, power steering, power brakes and AM push button radio. The car has 59,000 actual miles. Original specs verified by Deluxe Marti Report. Car is listed in the 1997 Shelby Registry. Alice Cooper, the legendary rock and roll icon, purchased the vehicle in late 2006. Alice Cooper also had two other vehicles on auction.

Mike is justifiably proud to own such a great collectible car. He will be showing the vehicle, along with Sammy Hagar's 1967 Shelby, at the World of Wheels auto show at the Qwest Center in Omaha. The show runs March 16, 17, and 18, 2007. The car is also on display at his dealership, located at 1940 Ridgeview Rd, Blair, Nebraska. Mike welcomes visitors and is excited to share his collection with other enthusiasts.

The vehicle can be viewed at www.mikesclassiccars.net and also at www.classyauto.com. Mike's website was designed and is hosted by Classyauto.com.
