TalentQuest, an Atlanta-based human resources consulting and technology solutions firm, exceeded 2006 growth projections with significant new accounts from a variety of business sectors and a suite of new customizable offerings.

Atlanta, GA (HRMarketer/PRWeb) March 9, 2007 -- TalentQuest, an Atlanta-based human resources consulting and technology solutions firm, exceeded 2006 growth projections with significant new accounts from a variety of business sectors and a suite of new customizable offerings.

TalentQuest grew revenues by nearly 40 percent with the addition of more than 70 new clients in 2006. Within the new accounts, 14 percent exceeded $100k in revenues and 24 percent exceeded $50k.

2006 was a record year for TalentQuest
Financial services continue to serve as a cornerstone with the additions of Morgan Stanley, CheckFree, and M&T banks, joining Washington Mutual, Nationwide Financial Services, and over thirty community banks across the nation. TalentQuest has built a suite of specialized offerings tailored to the financial services industry to enhance performance at all levels.

Coca-Cola Enterprises, the world’s largest bottler, joined the distribution client roster along with major service enhancements for TechData and the National Distribution Company. On the real-estate front, the company added Coldwell Banker Commercial, a major provider of full-service real estate and significantly expanded its service offerings with NRT, the largest real estate brokerage company in the nation.

The company expanded its scope into the healthcare sector with new project work for the American Cancer Society and bioMérieux, a worldwide group specialized in in-vitro diagnostics. McKesson, the nation’s largest healthcare IT company and pharmaceuticals distributor, also joined existing client Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in the healthcare practice.

Over the course of the year, TalentQuest made a strong entry into the government sector with new engagements with the City of Atlanta, the University System of Georgia and the Georgia Merit System, the central personnel agency for the state.

“We are partnering with some of the biggest industry names and are increasing our depth within these industries,” stated Frank Merritt, President and CEO of TalentQuest, “We are also honored to join with our local government to identify progressive strategies to continually enhance job performance.”

New Services Provide Niche Expertise

To respond to clients’ evolving needs, TalentQuest invested in innovative changes to its proprietary technology, TalentQuest. The Multi-Rater Appraisal allows multiple contributors to provide ratings and feedback for an individual’s performance review, resulting in a more holistic and objective performance assessment. Additionally, TalentQuest developed a Behavioral Rating Scale, which delivers a more in-depth, sophisticated evaluation of individual performance. For succession management, the Preparation Inventory module was devised to determine an individual’s “readiness” for a new role based on tangible experiences and leadership requirements.

On the consulting front, new simulation-based assessment methods were built to provide an interactive experience for determining critical individual competencies, such as critical thinking, customer focus and conflict resolution.

“2006 was a record year for TalentQuest,” said Merritt. “Our people are committed to client service in an unparalleled sense. I am proud of our team for rapidly expanding our client portfolio and for building the services and solutions to support it.”
