Louisville, KY (PRWeb) March 29, 2007 -- Grote Industries Inc., the long-standing leader in lighting and vehicle safety systems, unveiled multiple, industry-defining LED products from a blazing, genuinely white work lamp to dual mode military lighting to ergonomic interior lighting in a single, explosive announcement at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

"When it comes to qualifications in this race, Grote is setting the pace," said Dominic Grote, company vice president of sales and marketing.

The heavy-duty, off-highway market has been waiting for LED forward lighting and work lamps, and Grote will deliver them in a matter of months, not years
The race reference was partially a literal one, as Grote explained how the company will soon deliver an advanced LED forward lamp. He showed off a 6,000 lumen lighting array that competed in last fall's brutal Baja 1000 race.

The blazing WhiteLight array not only helped the team navigate the dust-choked, night portion of the race, it relied on superior technology to dissipate the lamps' internal heat, rather than rely on primitive solutions, such as fans.

"The heavy-duty, off-highway market has been waiting for LED forward lighting and work lamps, and Grote will deliver them in a matter of months, not years," Grote pomised.

Meanwhile, Grote is set to deliver new warm, WhiteLight LED lights to the market that rely on advanced optics and spectral technology to deliver a bright, but pleasant, more soothing light that reduces stress and provides optimum viewing comfort. "You might call it ergonomic lighting," Grote said.

Grote's new military level LEDs offer dual operating modes: standard, WhiteLight, illumination mode; and tactical or blackout mode, which uses a combination of red/white or blue/white color to allow soldiers to see, but remain less visible to the enemy. The military lighting line also enhances the use of night-vision technology.

Grote Industries, a QS-9000, TS16949 and ISO 14001 certified company, is the leading manufacturer and marketer of vehicle safety systems products, including LED, fluorescent and incandescent lamps, mirrors, wiring systems, turn signal switches, connection accessories and reflective accessories. For more than 100 years, Grote has provided state-of-the-art solutions for OEM and after market customers worldwide. With operations in Madison, Indiana; Toronto and Waterloo, Canada; and Monterey, Mexico, Grote also maintains a joint venture operation in Europe.

LED WhiteLight is a trademark of Grote Industries.
