Los Angeles, CA (PRWeb), March 30, 2007 -- Hellman Production, a worldwide full-service DVD duplication and CD duplication company, is proud to announce that it will be one of the first in the United States to begin using the TEAC AP-55 "Discathlon II" Dual Auto-Printer System.
TEAC Discathlon II is a highly demanded disc-printing system that uses high-precision robotic technology and high-resolution dye-sublimation/thermal-fusion printing technology to produce scratch-proof, water-proof CD or DVD discs with no color fading. Designed to work with up to two TEAC P-55 dye-sublimation printers - each of which boast a 400Dpi Print Head for glossy, smudge-free finishes - the AP-55 is capable of handling various applications, from low-volume production to mass production.
The result are the world's highest quality dye-sublimation printed discs that are borderless, printed from edge to edge and to the center of the disc, and UV stable with a protective coating. Customers receive the highest quality CD and DVD discs in a quicker turnaround time than the traditional replication/silkscreen process, which on average takes two weeks.
"After evaluating different printing technologies for the last few months, we are very impressed with the ease of use, superior print quality, versatility and speed of the TEAC AP-55 Discathlon II," says Swire Ho, Hellman Production Sales and Marketing Director. "The glossy coating that we put on the discs enhances the color on photos and graphics, so customers who need smaller runs in a short amount of time get the printing quality comparable to large commercial release."
