France (PRWeb) March 2, 2007 -- The much-awaited latest release of the popular Wi-FI rabbit, Nabaztag, was recently launched in Europe.

Nabaztag is a Wi-FI enabled toy rabbit designed and manufactured from a company from France, Violet, which changes color and moves its ears to provide real-time information about weather, traffic stock price movements or incoming e-mail.

The "smart rabbit" Nabaztag connects to a home network over Wi-FI and provides information through visual clues.

It has essentially become a huge craze throughout the Wi-FI world and has garnered large followers and fans alike.

Touted as the next generation smart Wi-FI hub, Nabaztag/tag has received much improvement over its predecessor, Nabaztag, with better core functionality.

Among of the highlights of Nabaztag/tag features are a fully functional two-way verbal communication mic in the belly of the gadget toy, ability to play podcasts and web radio.

Nabaztag has previously won the hearts of many Wi-FI users and received good thumbs up from the likes of Yahoo! Tech, PC PRO, PC Magazine, CNN, Guardian Unlimited as well as host of others.

"Though cute as a button, Nabaztag is far more than just a pretty face. Nabaztag is a cutting edge piece of technology designed for delivering you information once connected to the Internet via WI-FI", says one of the critics.

When put in good use, Nabaztag/tag can be used to send messages to housemates via the Nabaztag website. From there, Nabaztag can broadcast the signals / message with its voice functionalities.

Joining hundreds of other to promote Nabaztag, a 27-year-old web technician has recently launched a web referral contest where one of the lucky surfers can take away a brand new Nabaztag Wi-FI Rabbit, for free.

"I'm launching this contest to promote my latest web tutorial videos. As my small token of appreciation, I'm rewarding 1 unit of Nabaztag Wi-FI Rabbit for the chosen winner who brings in the most referrals to the website", says Kidino, the organizer of the contest.
