Lynwood, WA (PRWeb) April 9, 2007 -- Digital Media Applications invites the press and NAB convention attendees at NAB April 16-19, 2007, to visit the Digital Media Applications booth # 7726 Lower Level South Hall where the complete line of RocketDVD Automated DVD authoring software will be available for demonstration.

Digital Media Applications, a leading edge developer of automated DVD authoring and production software for media professionals, will be showcasing their full line of ROCKETDVD software. The product line consists of ROCKETDVD Prosumer, ROCKETDVD LIVE, AND ROCKETDVD ON DEMAND. While each application is based on the ROCKETDVD core technology, each product targets specific markets and provides unique functionality to meet the specific delivery demands of various media markets. RocketDVD is available in the following configurations:

Product Summary

RocketDVD Prosumer
Rocket DVD Prosumer is a powerful but cost effective application designed for media professionals who need to rapidly author professional DVDs but don't necessarily have the time or knowledge of the complex authoring process. By using our simple point and click user interface, users can set up and launch a DVD authoring and production project in a matter of minutes. Once the project is launched RocketDVD performs all the necessary tasks in creating a DVD including; Capturing and Encoding your video, creating a comprehensive menu (from your custom menu theme selection), creating an optional custom disc label, prints an optional custom DVD case wrap and prints your DVD insert thumbnail graphics for chapter selections. All of this is done without any further human intervention. In addition, you can direct the RocketDVD software to create a physical DVD on a local DVD writer or send the DVD project to a desktop DVD Duplicator/Printing system (i.e. Primera Bravo Series).

Markets: Event Videography, Education, Corporate, Video Post Production, Religion & Worship.

RocketDVD Professional
RocketDVD professional is an advanced version of the RocketDVD core software technology and encompasses a suite of products geared for high level production and enhanced workflow. In addition to our automated DVD authoring standard features sets such as realtime video capture/encoding, authoring, custom chaptering, and multi-project processing- RocketDVD supports professional/industrial grade duplicators, capture cards as well as the RocketDVD live and On Demand options.

RocketDVD Live
RocketDVD Live also has the ability to send the DVD image file you've created to an unlimited number of RocketDVD Live Duplication Towers, simultaneously, enabling the user to produce hundreds of DVDs at once.
RocketDVD Live is a completely automated DVD authoring solution that offers realtime video capture, recording and creation of DVDs during live events directly from various sources such as video cameras and/or decks. RocketDVD Live can create a fully authored DVD in a matter of minutes after a live event. While capturing the event, you can use the "Live Chapter Insert" feature to dynamically place chapter points in the program and even key in text relating to the chapter point (i.e. a song title) that will appear under the chapter point thumbnail in the DVD Scene menu.

Markets: Live Events - Entertainment, Training, Corporate Events, Government, and Education

RocketDVD On Demand
RocketDVD On Demand enables you to fully automate the entire DVD production process from a second application such as a Website, Database or an Asset Managment system. By placing a text file with project parameters in a pre-defined hot folder, RocketDVD On Demand will automatically poll the hot folder looking for project files to execute, immediately process the project and send the DVD to the output device selected in the project file. This includes creating a new menu, disc label and custom casewrap for the DVD project. You no longer have to keep DVDs in inventory. With DVD-On-Demand you can create a just-in-time DVD production process while adding the ability for your customers to custom select the video components or assets they want on the DVD.
