Atlanta and San Diego (PRWeb) April 9, 2007 -- The Atlanta Falcons, a professional football team in the NFC South Division of the NFL, and Digitaria, a full-service digital marketing and technology firm, today announced they will partner to deliver one of the most advanced and interactive Web sites available to sports fans today. The Atlanta Falcons selected Digitaria for its proven track record of building award-winning online experiences for companies including ASICS America, CBS Corporation, FOX Corporation, NBC Universal, TaylorMade-adidas Golf and many others.

"NFL sports franchises continue to stretch the boundaries of innovation while focusing on giving the fan an amazing overall experience. The Falcons are the first professional sports organization to build a Web site on a truly integrated social networking platform utilizing Web 2.0 functionality," said Digitaria CEO, Daniel Khabie. "The Atlanta Falcons are leveraging our world class creative and technology teams to deliver a fan focused experience. We are setting a new industry standard for NFL organizations. With the integration of Web 2.0 technologies, Falcons fans will have a voice throughout the Web site, including enhanced opportunities for open communication, social networking and the contribution of information to the site. The Falcons are also engaging a Fan Advisory Group, consisting of senior members of the online community on the team's current site. This advisory group will work closely with the Falcons/Digitaria design team to provide input, guidance and feedback through every stage of development for the new site.
